Project Summary

Description of Work

Working on behalf of Alzheimers Society we maintained one of their depots based in South London, Mitcham CR4. Grass Barbers dedicated gardening team visited site as part of annual maintenance plan. Our gardeners collected litter and debris, mowed lawns, strimmed edges and areas around obstacles.

By using sharp secateurs and hedge trimmers they shaped shrubs and hedges as well as removed deadheaded flowers. Ivy was has taken over the area between garden shed and the fence so it was cut back and removed from the building structure. Team hand weeded flower beds and applied herbicide on pavements and roads. Grass Barbers NPTC-trained operative applied selective weed killer within the grass areas to control broadleaf weeds such as dandelion, clover and broadleaf plantain. All hard surfaces were swept and cleared following grass cutting and waste carrying operations.

Using PDA technology gardeners reported all the work carried out during the visit. During the visit we saved multiple before and after images of the project and measured visit time with other important project details. This information helps us train our teams and monitor service quality.
